B2 GERMAN INTENSIVE COURSE

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Intermediate 2 comprises a total of 200 hours of intensive tuition, including 15 hours of communication lessons.
The prerequisite for participation in the Intermediate Level 2 (B2) is a B1 certificate with approx. 600 hours of intensive tuition “German as a foreign language”.
A placement test for this course level is compulsory for external participants.
The aim of the course is to teach a sophisticated everyday language and to introduce the language of science. Based on the teaching material, the four skills – listening, speaking, reading, writing – are practised and developed. In addition, at the intermediate level 2, the course participants are taught various learning techniques.
Every week during the course a test is taken to check the students’ language skills in reading comprehension, grammar, listening comprehension and text production. In this way, the teacher is able to monitor the development of the students at all times.
At the end of Intermediate 2 (B2), students will take a test to assess their reading comprehension, grammar, listening comprehension and text production skills.
Successful completion of the final exam at the end of the course enables students to move up to the Upper Level (C1) / DSH preparation.
