Course description:
Since 2015, the University of Duisburg-Essen (like several other universities) has required the presentation of a C1 certificate for registration for the DSH exam.
The intensive C1 course concludes—on schedule, a few days prior to DSH registration at the University of Duisburg-Essen—with the issuance of the C1 certificate upon passing the final exam; this makes the course an ideal prerequisite for anyone wishing to register for the DSH at the University of Duisburg-Essen. The certificate is valid at all universities. The IBZ provides assistance with DSH registration at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Using established standard textbooks, the C1 course trains students in all four written modules (reading comprehension, grammar, listening comprehension, and text production) required for the C1 certificate. Additionally, the course includes integrated training in oral communication and presentation skills, preparing students for the demands of oral examinations.
