Pick up from airport
We will pick you up from the airports Cologne and Düsseldorf and bring you to your accommodation.
This service is subject to a fee and differs depending on the airport from which we have to pick you up.
Application for admission to the University of Duisburg-Essen
We can apply for admission to the University of Duisburg-Essen on your behalf. You need the admission, also called the Hochschulzugangsberechtigung (HZB), to apply for a student visa at the German Foreign Office (German Embassy) in your home country.
This service is subject to a fee.
Health Insurance
Every language student in Germany must have private health insurance. In this matter we will be happy to help you find a suitable health insurance.
Public Transportation
The language students of IBZ receive the student card, who have an admission of the University of Duisburg Essen. We inform and help our language students with the application for enrollment at the University of Duisburg Essen. With the student card you have the possibility to get a room in a dormitory and to use the public transportation in NRW (bus, train, train) Alternatively to the student card we offer our students the possibility to buy a cheap ticket at the Essener Verkehrsgesellschaft.
Sending the course documents with DHL
On special request of the students we can send the German course documents to their home country by DHL. DHL Post has a very big advantage, namely that it reaches the destination quickly and safely. However, this service costs 100,- Euro including DHL fee.
